Dear Ones, Our time on the lake has been both enchanting and harrowing:

We got to dance and He glowed with the glory
goodness did we get a grin.

The band, they were Nepalese but it wasn’t a tease
And I’m sure ‘twas a sight for us all.

The lake it is vast but we gave it a pass even lacking all measure of meds
We figured there’d be no fast cuz we’re back in a flash,
But then came a time which told,
Something rather scary for too long we tarried
And Suffering began to show.

Dad’s restlessness or dis-ease was beginning to possess him more fully, but we needed to cross the lake.
His behavior became quite careless and I feared the boat may capsize in the darkness. His inability to comply with our seating instructions rank of willful obstinance. The stink of it nearly made me lose my bellyful of patience, but the see-sickness passed as we moored on the shore and as I carried him upon the stairs, I could see that he can only be as much himself as he’s able.

So all things are well in fact they’re swell, but sometimes it’s simply said straight:
We all go through hell but there mustn’t long dwell for surely much better awaits!

God is good and comes through. I’ve done a couple double-takes just marveling at how amazing it is that the fam is here! My friend Jess (who is about to hit up a 20 day Himalayan hike) made it yesterday and Shiva is incredible with Dad! Mom’s under the weather but is warming up to the earthy-paradise vibe of our current home. We’ve even adopted Alex the French guy. It is good being at home here.

With Love,
-Jonathan
